Weber Shandwick MENAT won Best Agency in the Middle East at the PRWeek Global Awards 2020.

The communications solutions agency won top honours in a very competitive field, with judges commenting on its enviable client roster, transformational assignments, and particular progress around diversity and inclusion.

The PRWeek Global Awards celebrate the best campaigns, people and organisations involved in cross-region communications. This year, the ceremony took place virtually.

“Given the unusual times we’re going through at the moment, this global recognition feels particularly special. I am grateful and exceptionally proud of our teams throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, for their continued dedication and focus, as well as their engaging and creative solutions to support our clients’ business,” said Ziad Hasbani, Regional CEO of Weber Shandwick MENAT.

Weber Shandwick MENAT is headquartered in Dubai with offices and affiliates across the region. The agency is also the current winner of Best Digital Campaign at the PRCA MENA Awards 2020, and garnered 13 awards at the most recent MEPRA Awards including in categories for influencers, digital PR, video, B2B, launch events, internal communications and media relations.

Recently, Weber Shandwick was named to Ad Age’s 2020 A-List, highlighting the agency’s problem-solving power and its ability to deliver creative solutions beyond the scope of traditional public relations.
