The FP7 University program is up and rolling. The Dubai chapter recently concluded their first three-part session with two sessions of Digital Velocity 101 – which is offered by MCN for all its agency teams. FP7 University sessions also included ‘Creative Briefs’ and ‘Telling Brand Stories through Connections’. Most of the attendees for the Digital Velocity 101 course were from the Account Management and Planning departments.
The MCN Digital Velocity course is a refresher step into the world of digital driven advertising communications and today’s changing world of media. The course provides attendees a basic understanding of today’s digital world we do business in, and helps them be “comfortably conversant” on most of today’s hot topics. Topics included Global and regional digital scenario, Understanding Paid, Owned Earned Media, Social Media Basics – what’s hot, How to engage via Social, Best practices and the Basics of Search: SEM & SEO.
MCN’s Digital Velocity 101 and other courses are tailor made for MCN employees in their specific capacities, and are offered across the region for all MCN agencies. Some courses and sessions are offered to clients as well.
